Gruene Coffee Haus in New Braunfels

Best coffee ever... We buy the Texas Pecan by the pallet... Okay maybe not but we drink a lot of it. It's also a nice place to get it of the fray on those Gruene festival days if you know what I mean.

Friendly staff, COVID conscious, very good drinks. Outside seating next to Market Days.

My favorite coffee house in Gruene. Lots of great choices of coffee and syrups. Take some coffee beans home. They added a neat sitting area to the back of the shop.

Very nice place with friendly workers! Ordered a java chip frappe and it was delicious! I left my wallet there and one of the workers went out of her way to find me on Facebook and let me know! Thank you so much, Brynn! Stopped by again to pick up my wallet and still got amazing service (this time ordered an iced mocha 😍) and loved my trip here. Will definitely stop by again. Amazing atmosphere, too.

Good service, good coffee, good environment. I like it all! I got their signature blend, iced, and it was delicious. The cashier was able to tell me exactly what was in the blend. Smooth with the right about of coffee bitter/taste. Yum! There was a generous amount of seating, very comforting atmosphere. Would come again next time I am in New Braunfels for sure!

Gotta a love a place that can serve you something that is not on the coffee menu. A proper flat whit is not common in these parts. But here it was gorgeous. Nice vibes!

I love this little place. They always make great coffee and they are the sweetest people that work there and me and my dog Duke love going every Wednesday morning. My daughter comes over and visits with me as well. Thanks from Duke as well he loves his puppaccino it's perfect

This place is unique! Walking in the aroma is sophisticated and welcoming. The coffee is roasted in building. There is lovely private seating in the roasting room, and outdoor seating, and main room seating. The baristas had no problem custom making my beverage, and they have a beautiful menu of staples. I'm not sure what it is about the blue in the logo, but the whole branding is very appealing. If you go here, you will be missing out if you don't pop in next door and try a sample of homemade fickle pickles!

Phenomenal. You cannot beat this coffee ANYWHERE! I've been in 7 countries and about half of the States in the U.S., and Gruene Coffee Haus stands head and shoulders above them all!!

I was in the during *social distancing* time and I really wanted some good coffee. I came here and they were doing their version of curbside ordering. The directions were clear, menus/hand sanitizers available and service was quick. Add to that great coffee and fun summer flavors- I had a great experience! I look forward to coming back next time I’m in the area, social distancing or not.

It’s a New Braunfels 5 and an Austin 3.5. I’m glad that New Braunfels has its own roaster and a place to get a good cup of coffee.

I think this place has the best coffee in all of New Braunfels. The only downside is the wait and the line. Maybe this coffee shop should hire one more employee to handle the morning rush.

Had there pecan coffee today it was an excellent cup of coffee. Also had a bite of my daughter's apple fritter and it was delicious. Love this place.

The selection is just right, not overwhelming and flexible. Seating areas are inviting and comfortable. Make this you next stop for your favorite cup!

We were with family & friends & enjoyed a great coffee called a pot of gold. Fabulous & a very peaceful place to be. Atmosphere over the top great.

Good coffee and friendly staff. They have a back area that is perfect for meetings, and they have board games. It is attached to Got Toys, so it can be a little loud. Parking is very limited, but that is very normal for Gruene. If you want a true small town Texas feel, come here!

Great coffee! We stopped for a ice cold coffee on a hot Saturday afternoon. We also picked up a bag of their coffee beans to make drip coffee every morning. Excellent group.

Small indoor space but lots of outdoor seating in the heart of Gruene. Coffee is smooth and baristas are friendly.

This Coffee Haus is my favorite. We just stopped by on our way from San Antonio to Austin to grab some cold coffee and a cinnamon roll. Our coffee was so good we ended up buying a bag of their Texas Pecan coffee. I will definitely come back.

-automatic espresso machineThis is not a place for coffee connoisseurs, it's more like a Starbucks. If you want a blended drink or a iced coffee this is your place. I was disappointed on my visit. I ordered a cappuccino and it was bad as in "Starbucks bad" milk to got and coffee bitter. I went there because the name had "roasters". My first clue was when I asked the attendant What roast was the espresso bean? And I got a blank look back. Ordered a cappuccino, and hoped for the best. There are two types of coffee drinkers. Those who drink to wake up and those who drink to savor the complex notes of the coffee beans. This place is not for the latter.

Hands down the best coffee shop that I’ve ever been to. All of their coffee is freshly roasted on site. I always leave with a bag or two so I can make it at the house.

Pretty good! The coffee is really good and from what the employee at the toy shop next door said, they roast their coffee in house. It has an excellent taste. I ordered blueberry and chocolate muffins though and you can tell straight off they aren't homemade. They're large though just not made there and tastes exactly like something you'd get out of a bag. If you're starving though, they're good to grab. The setting there is nice as well and they have several options and even have hemp milk.
